Christmastime Fun

Noah had a lot of fun this holiday season. We made salt-dough Santa ornaments to give out as gifts. Noah thoroughly enjoyed squishing his hand into the dough to create the template for our craft.

The little snowmen on this rug became two of his best buddies. It upset him whenever somebody was standing on their faces. He also liked to lay down and cuddle with the "snow" as he called them.

Noah was a big help while we were setting the table for our Christmas party. He plopped a friend in each of the seats and then proceeded to get cups out of his cubby to put at each place. We actually didn't realize he had done this until we walked back into the room later. Hilarious.

He graciously volunteered to sample all of the Christmas cookies that I baked

And we had lots of family cuddles

Noah's 3rd Christmas

Santa brought Noah a Radio Flyer big wheel for Christmas this year. After some initial hesitation about coming downstairs (he may have thought Santa was still in the house), Noah raced over to his new bike and jumped on.

Santa also brought a Toy Story 3 movie and a couple other goodies.

Happy boy on Christmas morning

Christmas Card

My wonderful cousin took some great pictures for us that we used for our Christmas card this year. We took the pictures on Thanksgiving when it was unusually warm out, so it was a perfect day for a shoot. Here are some extra pictures that weren't included on the card (and some that were).

Furry Friday

Noah really loved this Old Navy dog while we were shopping last week. He dragged him literally all over the store and then even tried to ride him.

Seein' Santa

We went to an event last weekend where Santa flies down in a helicopter to greet and meet the children. Noah loved the helicopter; he was so unbelievably excited. Until Santa got out.

Here we are, happy, during the breakfast portion

As we get closer to Santa, Noah becomes a little wary

And then lost it when I made him sit in this strange bearded man's lap

Later that day, we went to see another Santa to see if it would go better. This time he didn't cry, but we also could not get him to smile. He just sat there stunned thinking, again parents?

To make it up to him, we went outside to check out a real reindeer
