Performing Arts

Another day at the local museum. We concentrated on performing arts on this trip. The boys (and Nick) were cowboys, pirates, a dragon, a puppy, and a captain.

Charlotte had a good time exploring the baby area

And the boys enjoyed making full body replicas of themselves in the pushpins. Notice the difference between Wyatt's pushpin tummy and Noah's. Very accurate.

The boys wanted to stop at the ice cream shoppe a couple doors down afterwards, but once we got in they decided on cookies instead. Noah chose a Shopkins donut and Wyatt chose Elmo.

Here's a video I created summarizing our day:

Lunch with Mom

Working at home gave me the opportunity to send Noah to his Summer Camp most of the week, but on Fridays when there was no camp we enjoyed getting to have lunch together. One nice day we picked up some lunch and ate it at the Commons area near the pond. We'll have to come back sometime and do a little fishing. There were thousands of fish in that pond.

Arboretum 2

I'm really loving that they added the Arboretum to our credit card's free museums program (free admission the first week of every month) because daily admission at the Arboretum is quite expensive. It's such a nice way to spend the day outdoors and the boys really love the children's gardens and creek.

Since she can't get around on her own yet, CeCe practices her faces

A new addition since our last visit was the Froggy Exhibit. We had fun hunting down [almost] all of the frogs on site. I think we lost count at some point.

The boys also talked us into buying them sweet treats

Air Show

Back in June and while Noah was doing a fishing derby with Nick, Wyatt and Charlotte and I met up with our cousins for an air show at a local airport. Rain cut our visit short, but we did have enough time to sit inside a plane and a couple army vehicles, see some model airplanes, shoot each other with water guns, and watch a rescue copter in action. I forgot to bring Charlotte a coat, so she ended up in Wyatt's little red hoodie.
