Finley

Finley was our quaker parrot that we adopted in August of 2008. Before Noah came along, he was quite the chatterbox learning about a half-dozen different phrases including "Good Boy Finny", "Good Morning", "Go Night Night", "Uh oh", and "Stop it" to name a few. He also learned to sneeze, laugh, and make a sort-of coughing sound in response to someone coughing. He was very loving and enjoyed 'stepping up' and sitting on shoulders to enjoy an (unhealthy) snack.

Sadly, Finley never adjusted well to having a baby in the house and soon stopped being hand-tame and developed a yelling problem. In December 2012, we sent Finley to a bird rescue with the hope that he would re-learn some of his prior good behaviors and be adopted by a new loving family.
