Summer - Week Nine

On July 27th, Wyatt turned six years old. We started the day by attending CeCe's t-ball game.

Then we stopped by the library's summer finale event to see the petting zoo.

Next, we had a scout hiking club meeting to set up the itinerary for the next year while the kids ran around the splash pad.

 

And then it was off to the movie theatre to see Aladdin. It was, of course, absolutely necessary to bring a large assortment of stuffed friends with us. Charlotte fell asleep halfway through the movie.

CeCe is so excited for Frozen II to come out.

The next morning we made cupcakes for Wyatt's family party.

And then it was party time. As usual, we combined Wyatt and CeCe's birthdays for the family party.

I had them take turns opening the presents so it wasn't a free-for-all. Wyatt's first gift was an absolutely giant sized mosasaurus.

Later, we had a water fight with the neighbors. Even Uncle Kurt got into it.

The next day Noah did some work on his computer since he didn't have camp.

After tutoring, we stopped for a treat at the library cafe.

CeCe got a car tangled in her hair.

And she had her last Princess Adventures class at the park district.

And we finished the week by climbing at the park on a pretty, sunny day.
