Better Hop To It

Now that our house is no longer under a two week quarantine (why does it seem like we always get a bad illness in March), I am back with an Easter update. Just in time, since Easter is less than a week away. Two weekends ago (while some of us were still recuperating) we had our annual breakfast with the bunny across the street.

Everything was going swell until the bunny walked in (unannounced I might add) and sat a mere twenty feet from Wyatt. I managed to quickly get my camera out so I could capture his reaction.

Noah had a similar reaction when he was one, although he was just a tad braver if you recall:

After breakfast and after Wyatt stopped shaking from the horrifying white rabbit, the kids did a little egg hunt. Noah was told to only pick up ten eggs. He counted them out perfectly and stopped when he reached ten. I was so proud!

Wyatt just grabbed at Easter grass at first. Then he collected some eggs for his basket and later stole some eggs from another baby's basket.

V-Day

Noah was required to decorate a valentines box this year for his class party. To prep, I wrapped the box in some heart paper and cut a hole in the top. Then I unleashed him to decorate as he chose with an assortment of stickers and glitter pens (I did help him make a few glitter hearts to balance out the glitter blobs that he had made). He really enjoys getting creative and crafty.

For the Valentines this year, I went with a fish theme. The card was downloaded from the internet and then we just added goldfish crackers. Noah was a big help, he opened the bags and put the card in and then I filled a handful of crackers in each.

The boys also enjoyed getting their Valentines treats from mommy on V-day morning. Noah got a little ice cream truck puzzle, a valentines cup, colored pencils, M&Ms, and chocolate kisses. Wyatt got a valentines plate, valentines socks, and M&Ms. I found cute Valentine's robot bags for their little goodies.
