We finally chucked our old clunker refrigerator (it really did clunk) and replaced it with this nice new french door one. We were going to get black to match our other appliances, but reviewers were complaining about how much it smudged so we went with the stainless steel. Hopefully that was a good move. I am happy that the new stainless steel allows magnets on the front so that Noah can still play.

Santa Santa Ho Ho Ho
Noah saw Santa three times this year. The first was at a friend's house for an early Christmas party. At first he had on his "scared smile" where he tries to smile even though inside he is freaking out. But after Santa called his name he was very brave and went and sat on his lap. He also enjoyed some cute arts and crafts and made cookies at the party.
I didn't get any pictures of him on this Santa's lap because I was shooting this video instead:
The very next day we went to see Santa at the town square commons like we do every year and got a great picture of the two boys. Having just seen Santa, Noah was super excited to see him again. By the third time (at his school Christmas concert) he ran over to him and finally told him what he wanted for Christmas. Toys.

Sick House
Both the kiddies are sick. Wyatt has a 102 degree fever (his first fever) and Noah keeps waking up with so much goop in his eye that it crusts shut and he cannot see. And I'm also feeling it a little. So it's been a long day. (Note: these are not pictures from today)

Things Noah Says
Today starts a new series in my blog posts where I write all the funny things that Noah says (and later Wyatt) now that he is starting to be a little more conversational.
I am always referring to Wyatt as "Mr. Wyatt" so Noah does too. Now he has started calling us "Mr. Dad" and "Mr. Mom".
We are still struggling with potty training. Today I asked Noah what that stinky smell was and if it was him and he said "No! Wyatt did it." Thus begins the blame the brother game.
Every night after we read books Noah knows he can secure an extra minute by asking for a drink of water. He blurts out "Need Water!" and runs to the staircase to wait for dad. And he always takes the smallest sip possible. Suuuure you needed water.
Noah has just started into the "why" phase. Lately he asks where one of us is and the answer is usually "work". Then he asks why we are at work and the answer we give is to make money. Why do we need money? To buy food. And after thinking for a few seconds he replies "But we have food!"
And for your daily dose of baby:

My Little Turkeys
Noah was given this cute drumstick headband for the Little Turkey Dashers race the weekend before Thanksgiving. He didn't actually run the race because it was freezing turkey legs out there, but he did stand at the starting line and think about possibly doing it (he's also wearing Daddy's second place division medal).
And here is my other handsome turkey on Thanksgiving

Le Fox
The boys are taking up quite a bit of my time lately so I haven't had time to post. Here's a cute baby to tide you over until I can scrape up some more time.
