Charlotte's Still Sleeping

Sleeping Beauty continues to crash in sometimes awkward positions (she's going to love this series when she's older!) These are her sleeping pictures from fall through December.

Oh check it out, we got a new couch

And a new reclining love seat

The boys woke her up from this one

That looks uncomfortable

This too

This is the "after the Christmas concert crash"

And the "on the way to a Christmas party crash"

Charlotte started sleeping in our room in October because she was either scared of sleeping in her room or didn't want to sleep on her toddler bed.

Hockey, Musical, and a Submarine

One night, Noah read Charlotte her bedtime story.

Noah Reading:

The two littles and I met some friends at a new play place one Saturday. It was a cute place, but a little far, so we probably won't go very often. Wyatt of course had to ride the little fire truck. He is still adamant about growing up to be a fire fighter.

The next morning they helped me bake muffins.

We had a family meet-up later that day at a Rockford Ice Hogs hockey game. I remembered that Noah had a hockey shirt when he was three, so I dug it out for Charlotte to wear. She kept saying, "This is a boy's shirt. I am just wearing it to the hockey game."

The 2nd Graders had a vocal concert one Wednesday night. They sang some really cute songs about animals. Noah is front row, second from the left in the cream shirt standing next to his best friend Max.

Here are some snippets of the songs. A couple are videos the teacher shot, so they don't always feature Noah.

Ants in Our Pants:

Being a Crab is Fun:

You Really Oughta Swim Like an Otter:

We got Elephants:

We got Elephants - with Noah's kick line:

Charlotte got upset because Nick told her to stop wandering around so instead of distracting people with her movement, she distracted them with her crying. Perfect.

Nick and Wyatt went on an overnight at the USS Silversides Submarine in Michigan. Wyatt loved it and wants to go back and do it again.

And Noah received his Wolf Badge at the Blue and Gold Banquet.

Hearts and Love Day

I started putting together the kids' Valentines in January. We had to hand them out to four different classrooms. This was the first year Charlotte participated and two of the batches were for her classes. For her daycare friends, we did mermaid-cat Valentines with a cute heart ruler attached.

For Little Sprouts, we gave bubblegum chewing llama Valentines with heart-shaped slime.

For Wyatt's class, he loved the idea to give out pencils that were stuck through a man's nostril. I found the Valentine template on Etsy and we just used pencils that we already had around the house. (Because we have a ton of pencils.)

And for Noah, I ordered space-themed puzzle erasers (the current rage) and found a matching Valentine on Etsy.

For the big day, Noah received a balloon goon floatie, and a Minecraft beach towel, Charlotte received a Barbie baking set, and Wyatt received a dragon Lego set and a Lego Jurassic World DVD. And they all received caramel chocolate hearts.

Wyatt's school had a Valentine's party, so I chaperoned. My table was a Valentine card station. The stamps got a little messy, so that probably wasn't the best idea.

Noah also did Valentine-themed activities at school
