Farm and Barn

In August, we stopped by the neighboring Farm and Barn festival. Due to construction, the fest moved across the street this year (so it actually wasn't at a Farm or a Barn). This was Charlotte's second Farm and Barn - remember last year she attended as an eight-day old newborn.


First the boys did some laps through a haystack course on little green tractors

Then they had fun climbing on real green tractors

 

 

The swinging horse is always a good time

Ice cream! Because it's always about the ice cream. We scored free samples at this fest.

The boys had a rubber duck race with water pumps on the Quacky Track. Noah won, but Wyatt did a great job and got his ducky all the way home by himself.

They rode the rocking pony (nobody was up for the real horses today, but don't worry they had some)

 

And capped the day off with a little mini golfing

Blackberry Farm

We took the kids to Blackberry Farm at the end of July. Charlotte rode a carousal for the first time (and second time) and seemed to enjoy it.

We also rode the train a few times

One Year Pics

Charlotte finally had her 1st Birthday pictures taken almost two months after her birthday. The entire month after her birthday she had a terrible eye infection in both eyes. Then there was no time to take her in because we were packing for vacation and unpacking for vacation.


So here they are, Charlotte's 13 1/2 month pictures. She was very cooperative and made the photographer's job a breeze just like she did for her 6 month pictures.
