Egg Hunts

We participated in two egg hunts this year. The first was at a local ice cream shoppe with the possibility of winning some free ice cream. It was a crazy mad dash to pick up the eggs and we did not find a lucky egg.

 

Our second egg hunt was the following weekend at a local nursery. It was a little more relaxed; every child got to pick up five eggs - so there was plenty for everyone. Wyatt was at baseball class, so Noah and Charlotte collected his five for him.

There was a bunny there that Charlotte insisted on seeing. Once it was finally our turn, as expected, she didn't want anything to do with the bunny.

The Fort

We got a taste of Spring in mid-March and took the kids to a park we've been meaning to check out for a long time. They have a giant wooden fortress and some great old tire swings. The kids loved it.

Shamrocks and Superheroes

In March, we wore green for St. Patrick's Day and went on a shamrock hunt

Wyatt was super excited to see his friend Grant from school at the shamrock hunt

There was a separate hunt for the bigger kids

There was also a superhero-themed day at Charlotte's gymnastics class. She wore her Owlette cape and mask with pride, but sometimes the cape got in the way of her tumbles

Night at the Museum

Our daycare rented out the local Children's museum one night. Noah had a scout meeting, so the other two and I went out for a night at the museum. Charlotte loved the big dollhouse just like last time.

But the market is always where they end up spending most of their time.
