Leaves and Flowers
Helping dad rake up some bush trimmings
Then he decided to rescue this little pile of leaves from being captured and placed in the bag
Watching dad try to fix our leaning wall
Checking out the peonies
And running around collecting sticks

Phone Dump
Here are a bunch of random pictures from May that I finally took off my phone. Up first, a delicious ice cream snack from the always awesome Plush Horse Ice Cream Parlor.
Equally awesome, chocolate milk shakes from Steak n Shake.
Enjoying an evening by the fire pit.
Enjoying some post-bedtime basement fun during one of our recent tornado siren adventures
Trying out our new faucet extender. No more hoisting to wash hands!
It's been a while since we took any goofy self-portraits.

KidsWork
Violet and Sadie stopped by a couple weekends ago to hit up the local Children's Museum, but first we had lunch at Choo Choo Johnny's - a fun train-themed restaurant.
Noah loved when the choo choo brought out everyone's lunch, but what was really on his mind was riding this train.
Thrilled to be riding shotgun and not acting as engineer.
After lunch we headed over to the museum. The museum itself was on the small size (compared to the last one we went to), but since there were literally only four other people there, the kids had the run of the entire place. First stop was the dinosaur play pit and then digging in the life-size dino pit for fossils.
Their favorite activity was this "pin screen" where you can make impressions on one side and see what it looks like on the other.
Here comes lunch:

The upstairs had a theatre area and a keyboard you could dance on just like in the movie "Big".
We also did some arts and crafts and played with another train.
Having fun with the pin screen:
