On Monday, we were surprised to find some snow had fallen overnight. We were also surprised to find we were the only ones to get any! Seizing the first opportunity to play with snow in almost a year, we braved the sub-zero temperatures to have a quick snow shoveling adventure in the back yard.

Time for a Haircut
Noah finally got a haircut this weekend. It has been since last May that he had it professionally done and he was starting to look "like a hippy" according to Nick. We picked a really cute place where Noah was able to sit in a firetruck and watch a little TV. He loved the experience and the sucker they gave him afterwards.

Ridin' Rody
Uncle bought Noah a Rody Horse for Christmas this year. It's just like those large balls with the handles that you bounce on, except this is in the shape of a horse. After some initial technical difficulties getting the Rody inflated, we plopped Noah on and he figured it out right away.

Christmas Takedown
Noah was a big help taking down the Christmas decorations this year, although he was sad to see many of his friends go.

Camera Shy
We are a house full of sickies so I haven't had an opportunity to post or take many pictures lately. Not that Noah is very cooperative with his photographic life documentation anymore; he looks up for only 3 seconds and then looks anywhere but at the camera including covering his face (which is kind of cute). Usually he will come around in the end and give me a nice smile.

2 Year Pictures
Noah had his Two Year pictures taken at school back in October (it was just fall portrait day, but it happened to pretty much coincide with him turning two). I thought they came out really well!

Marker Mess
The other day we had supervised coloring with marker time. Noah got about as much on the paper as he did on his hands. Luckily, they were the washable kind.

Goodbye 2012
We spent New Years Eve with our friends, eating pizza and having delicious blueberry grape sparkling juice (Noah slurped it right down). He also made it nearly to midnight, not getting to bed until 11:15pm. We thought the noisy neighbors were going to wake him at midnight, but he was completely sound asleep.
As the the night grew later, we got out Violet and Noah's sleeping mats and they enjoyed pretending to have a slumber party in the hallway.
Happy New Year!
