Other August Doings

The kid's school had a sign up to congratulate us on our newest tuition generator family member

When Charlotte was 8 days old, we took her to the Farm and Barn Fest down the road. Auntie KK came with us to help wrangle the boys since I couldn't quite wrangle yet.

A couple days before Nick went back to work, we took the gang out for Charlotte's first picnic and nature walk

On Charlotte's two week birthday, I met some family for a hot day at Brookfield Zoo

The boys still found plenty of ways to have fun even though we were cooped up in the house most days

Charlotte's First Month

We soon realized that Charlotte was a very good baby. She started giving us a four to five hour stretch of sleep at night as soon as we got home. She's now (at two months old) up to eight to nine hours. No sleep deprivation certainly helps when you have three kids under five. She had no problems feeding - she had gained back well more than her birth weight at her week and a half appointment  - so we didn't even have a one month appointment. She loved the car and the swing (unlike Wyatt) and could sit contentedly by herself while awake for a nice chunk of time.
