The Birthday Daddy

Sunday was Daddy's birthday. We celebrated by opening gifts, going to the mall for new sneakers, going out for pizza, and then having some yummy cake.

We went to another town festival last weekend (my favorite thing to do) where Noah decided he was now afraid of horses and wouldn't ride one. He was also pretty afraid of the petting zoo what with all the goats and sheep running amok. He did enjoy the pigs and chickens though, probably because they were shorter than him and less intimidating.

Two things he did enjoy: the tractor ride and the rubber horse swing

He also attempted to go down the big inflatable slide, but having to sit on Daddy's lap he didn't really get the full experience.

We enjoyed this year's trip to Iowa to celebrate summer birthdays, but first we had a short layover in Davenport.

Last Wednesday Noah and I decided we wanted to actually do something interesting with my day off so we ventured out to an indoor play zone geared for toddlers. It was pretty much like a daycare - a small room with kids just running around playing with random toys.
