New Years Eve

On the eve of New Years Eve, we went to the village's first New Year's balloon drop in the Commons. There were crafts, games, and refreshments while we waited.

They set up the balloon drop over the ice skating rink.

Cookies and lemonade.

When the moment finally came, Charlotte got a little overwhelmed.

Afterwards, the boys enjoyed running around, stomping on, and collecting the balloons.

It was a windy day, so a good number of balloons floated away across the town. They thought that was hysterical.

Later that day, we had a Fraser Christmas at Grandpa's house. Wyatt got to spend some time with his godfather.

On actual New Years Eve, we went out for Giordano's pizza, watched a movie, and did a couple Netflix New Years countdowns.

As is tradition, we also took our annual Christmas tree picture the next day.

New Years 2018

We spent the week after Christmas enjoying all of our new acquisitions.

On New Years Eve, we went back to Grandpa's house for another family gathering. I made some yummy New Years cookies for the occasion.

Then we went out for dinner at the Patio

And finally, had a movie night and watched ET. The boys made it to almost 11p. This was Wyatt's first time really watching ET. He was simultaneously mesmerized and horrified. He keeps asking to see it again, but won't let Noah's stuffed ET anywhere near him. During the movie, Noah drew this awesome picture of "Scary movie ET" where he drew the path to take him from the house to find ET hiding outside. I especially love the heart he drew on ET. Great attention to detail.

Etcetera

How am I doing on catching up? Here is my last post for 2015!

Charlotte loves sleeping in our bed.

Noah was in the room too and posed for a picture, so I had to take one

Mommy and me selfies

Noah's teacher at Little Sprouts told me he absolutely loved this activity at school so she let him bring it home to finish. Wyatt joined in too. They are pulling sunflower seeds out with tweezers. We kept some for ourselves so maybe we will grow some sunflowers this year.

Charlotte hanging out with her little bunny while I get ready in the morning.

Noah propped this book up for Charlotte so she could read. So sweet!

Little miss is getting bigger and bigger

Grandma got Charlotte to sleep in her crib for a quick nap

Wyatt discovered that he likes Cheetos

Charlotte now flips almost immediately when putting her down and she loves tummy time

Wyatt has taken a liking to Nick's deodorant. He tries to apply it to his face so I was telling him where he was supposed to put it. The tummy is close enough I guess!

I took Noah to his fourth movie in a theatre: The Good Dinosaur. We even wore our coordinating shirt. He loved it. He says the little boy Spot was his favorite character. Before the movie started they showed a Pixar short film. About half-way through he turns to me and says "Where is the dinosaur?" Hah.

Sometimes Nick leaves his giant hockey bag in the garage and getting out of the car (and getting him into the car) is quite a challenge.

We spent one morning after Christmas revealing their magic washcloths from Santa.

It finally got cold outside so we could start wearing our cute winter hoodies

Charlotte discovered she could make funny faces with her lips.

In case you want to watch Charlotte eat her toes and blow some raspberries:

And on New Years Eve I took the boys out for some $1.31 ice cream. And then we went home and called it a night. Maybe next year we will actually celebrate New Years!
