T-Ball Season Two

We dropped soccer from our sports itinerary this year. It was too frustrating for Noah since he had a hard time ever catching the ball and he felt like soccer just consisted of aimlessly running back and forth across the field. T-ball, on the other hand, gave him the opportunity to always interact with the ball and feel that he was accomplishing something. He always got to bat three or four times a game and run the bases and he usually got to field at least one base and throw the ball. We did the Saturday league again so that Nick could coach.

Noah had his three cheerleaders out sweating for each game. Wyatt desperately wanted to play t-ball as well (he missed the three year old league due to his late birthday) and I often let him join the team in the field (nobody really fields at this age) and after the game he got his chance to bat.

This is your typical 'no child smiles at the same time for the same picture' syndrome

Charlotte began figuring out how to use a straw

And we occasionally bought the boys an ice cream treat before lunch if it was a super hot day

Noah's sports pictures always look so unfortunate. He does look really cute in the team picture though. I do believe there was an ice cream bribe involved.

Last game of the short season. Noah got his participation medal (no trophy this year), we had a hot dog lunch, and enjoyed an hour of bouncy house jumping.
