10 month old Charlotte was very spunky. She was cruising like a boss, started to wear her hair up in a little ponytail, and started to stand unassisted. She decided to give up baby food completely at this point (because yuck) and was eating regular people food.
Eleven month old Charlotte could now stand from a sitting position and stand unassisted. She was really interested in her books and toys (mostly her brother's toys). Since she was now standing, she started to wear actual shoes.
And then Charlotte turned 12 months old. She had her official measurements accompanied by Nick (since I started a new job and couldn't take off). She grew to nearly 30" and weighed 21 pounds, 8 ounces. We really thought she was going to walk by her first birthday because she was just so close, but took her time and started towards the end of her twelfth month. We discovered she's slightly mischievous like one of her brothers, but usually has a very sweet, good-natured disposition. She loves to play with her toys: pushing around her stroller and getting involved in her Little People in a way that the boys never did. She also really loves her big brothers and is excited that she can start to play and do activities with them.
This outfit above was a hand-me-down from a friend and what is so neat about it is that it's the exact same outfit I put on Charlotte to come home from the hospital in. It was her very first outfit (aside from the hospital shirt) and so it is so fitting that she was able to wear it again for her first birthday.
Noah the tunnel. Too cute not to share: https://youtu.be/4WMqO44dcsE
