Santa Santa Ho Ho Ho

The kids visited Santa at our town's annual Christmas in the Commons event. Noah loved him this year and did not hesitate for a second to tell him what he wanted for Christmas (a teddy bear). Wyatt disliked Santa immensely. The boys also visited two of Santa's reindeer outside.

Later, Noah and Wyatt had their first train ride to Tinley Park, where we had a pizza lunch, saw another Santa, and made a project in Santa's workshop. Noah (and his buddy Kurt) loved riding the train.

Noah was pretty good with this hammer. He had great aim and didn't hit daddy's fingers once!

One morning, I made the boys special Christmas pancakes.

Noah had his annual Christmas concert at school. He actually sang the songs this year! He had been practicing around the house for a long time. If it's a little hard to spot him in the picture - he is on the right side in a red and gray striped shirt.

Trot

Back in November, Nick ran his third annual Thanksgiving 5K and came in second place for his age group.

Noah successfully ran his first mini-race (he attempted last year, but it was brutally cold out so he didn't want to participate.) He got a ribbon for his efforts.

I'm Back

Hello again. I took a nice long winter vacation, but I am back and ready to catch you up on our Christmas fun this year. For starters, our annual family picture in front of the tree. Only two tries (we put the camera on a timer) to get everyone smiling! Wyatt was fighting a cold, but the sweet little guy is smiling anyway.
