16-18 months

Since I never posted Wyatt's 16 month photo from November, we'll start with that. 17 months didn't happen because we were so busy with Christmas.

I was trying to get him to smile, so I asked to see his teeth. Here mom, here's my teeth!

Afterward, he wanted to show me his belly too.

Wyatt is now 18 months old. He had his check-up today and is 24 pounds and 32 inches tall. He's a healthy hungry, hungry monster.

Holly Jolly Morning

Santa brought the boys their gifts in a really cool Santa sack this year. He did bring Noah the teddy bear he was asking for (really, how can he refuse such a sweet request like a teddy bear), and a handful of other goodies. In addition to the bear (now named Teddy), Noah received a Dusty plane, pajamas with a mini-flashlight (which has actually turned out to be his favorite gift of all), and a Leonardo Ninja Turtle who has stretchy arms. Wyatt received some books, a helicopter, and a magna-doodler and they both received a Planes Fire and Rescue DVD to share. Noah was absolutely thrilled with Christmas morning this year and with Christmas in general. He is still singing Christmas songs all the way into February.

Christmas Eve

This year on Christmas Eve, not a single person in the entire house was sick with anything. It was a Christmas miracle. Instead of having the twins over this year, the boys were joined by Hannah and Emily from North Carolina. Christmas is always better with cousins to play with. They all had a blast opening presents and running around together. We're so happy they made the long trip to join us.

Auntie KK loves her babies

Wyatt has been doing this really goofy thing lately where he gets up real close to you and then makes a silly face. It's hysterical. Even his teachers say they have to stop reading stories because they crack up when he does this.
