Picking Apples

One fine day we took the boys on our annual apple "picking" adventure. I say "picking" because we like to go at the end of the season when the apples have already been picked and are sitting in boxes for us to "pick up". The boys still have fun choosing their apples and we don't have to pay the "picking" fee. Win win!

Zoo Boo

One beautiful weekend in October we did our annual Halloween at the Zoo trip. It wasn't officially Boo at the Zoo, but it was too nice a day to pass up. Noah is really into posing behind photo cut-outs lately. We also visited the new exhibit where we brushed some goats and got attacked by a swarm of parakeets!

Arboretum

One day in October we met up with my childhood best friend and her family at the Morton Arboretum. They had never been to the Arboretum before and fall is a beautiful time to visit. There are lots of fun activities for the kids in the children's gardens, mazes, and playgrounds. We also took a stroll around the lake to check out all of the neat scarecrows and Lego creations.
