Summer Vacation Week 4

Rounding out the first month of summer vacation. Charlotte rocking her t-ball uniform.

Saturday we had one of our frequent front yard baseball practices to fine-tune our skills.

Dinner at the kids' table 

We stopped at Home Depot after dinner that night to get some paint to liven up our front door.

On Sunday, we drove out to Johnson's farm in Indiana to do some strawberry picking. The kids love strawberries, so this seemed like something they would love. This was our first time visiting this farm and we had a blast. We will definitely return.

It would be Wyatt's dream to be buried under a mountain of strawberries.

More fun stuff at the farm. These pedal bikes were a big hit.

There were also games, inflatables, a petting zoo, and haystacks to climb.

And we even got to meet Strawberry Shortcake! It was a great day.

The next day, Noah continued his cooking class

The boys finally convinced me to take them to see Jurassic World. (They loved it).

Charlotte stayed home and took care of her babies

Tuesday, Noah completed a challenging two-sided world puzzle (with a little help)

How can I resist this face?

Wednesday was sports day at daycare. I had to pull Charlotte's football shirt out of the boys' box.

While the other two were at sports day, I took Noah on a solo trip to Santa's Village (in lieu of our trip to Six Flags). We had a great day, just the two of us.

On the way home, we stopped by to have dinner with Grandpa and Cheryl and Sassy

On Friday, Noah did a Forest Preserve Lego event. They went on a walk to look for animal habitats and then came back to build them out of Legos. It was blazingly hot that day, but they were prepared with squirt guns and ice water for the kids.
