May Outdoors

May started to turn into summer quickly, so we spent a lot of time outdoors. We discovered a new, fun neighborhood park.

 

We had our first marshmallow roast of the year

 

We bought CeCe her birthday present early so she could enjoy it all summer: A new playhouse!

We went to a summer kick-off lollipop hunt. Wyatt collected two lollipops and Noah refused to participate because he didn't have a bag.

We had family cook-outs

And played with sparklers

And we walked down to the little pond and searched for tadpoles. We brought Kurt along on one trip while he was over for a play date.

 

Wyatt's Year at Little Sprouts

In May, Wyatt completed his first year at Little Sprouts. While Noah was the oldest in the 3-5 year old program when he went, Wyatt was the youngest having just turned three. I wasn't sure how he was going to do with following directions (especially outside), but his teachers said he was "pretty" good for the most part and they really took a shining to him (how could you not?) He wouldn't hold a snake during snake week, but he had such a great time and was always so excited to tell us about the animals and plants he was learning about.
