Daddy Daughter

At two, Charlotte isn't quite old enough to sign up for community Daddy-Daughter dances, but Nick stumbled upon an advertisement for a dance at the church. They didn't specify an age minimum, so he signed up. Charlotte was sooo excited to get dressed up in a pretty dress to attend the Moana dance. Here are their pre-dance pictures.

At the dance, Charlotte enjoyed the Moana cookies, popcorn, balloons, and dancing, but she was her usual skeptical self when strangers asked for her picture. She said she had a pretty good time!

Ducks

We did Easter pictures again this year, except instead of baby chicks, we did them with baby ducks. The baby ducks were very excitable, but as soon as Wyatt got a hold of his, the little guy tucked his wings in and plopped right down. Wyatt the Duck Whisperer.

Noah didn't have quite as much luck with his little duckie. It must have felt a bit like trying to get his brother to sit still.

We knew Charlotte wouldn't like the ducks, so we didn't even bother trying to hand her one.

While we attempted to warm her up to the idea, Noah and Wyatt did a boys picture.

And then we plopped her in the middle.

I love Wyatt's laugh here

Mommy, Daddy, why???

The best we could do. You can tell she's trying really hard not to give us a smile. Little stinker.

Peppa Party

I took Charlotte to a free Peppa Pig party at a local library one Saturday. It was crowded and there wasn't much to it, but she had a nice time. We made a wand, a Peppa puppet, and a Peppa family craft.

Watched a couple episodes of the show

And played a game and got our picture with a large Peppa and George. We wore our only Peppa shirt, which was a tank top, so we put a cardigan on top.

Later that day we found her crashed on the couch in her flip flops. She must have passed out waiting for it to finally warm up outside.
