Wilderness

We did our third annual February water park trip the first weekend of the month (by the way, I'd just like to point out that I'm posting about February in February - which means I'm all caught up!) The local water park closed down last year and they are remodeling and rebranding it, so we had to choose somewhere else to go. We chose the Wilderness Hotel in the Dells because it had great reviews and we got a decent room rate. They had three water parks within the hotel (and another off-site). We spent the majority of the day at the kid's Wild West Park and later that evening stopped by another one that had a lazy river. Noah loved the slides and we didn't really even have to supervise him much. Wyatt needed some coaxing, but ended up loving them too.

I didn't have my phone out at the Wild West, but I did for the other park. This was the slide the boys went down over and over by themselves.

Wyatt made a friend (he can make a friend anywhere we go and in under five minutes) and they spent about 40 minutes playing and going down the slide together.

Charlotte liked the swings where she could just "get her feet wet"

Everyone loved the lazy river... even Charlotte who asked Daddy to go ride it again.

We had dinner at the Wild West Saloon. They had fun little buildings to explore while we waited for our food. And since it was Super Bowl Night, we were able to watch some of the game.

Later that evening, we grabbed some frozen yogurt and ate it in the bar next door so we could catch some more of the game.

And finally, we hit one of the arcades

The kids love when we take a trip out of town and spend the night in a hotel, even if it's only for a day or two
