Christmas Days 16-18

On the sixteenth day of Christmas, we went to a local pottery shop with Noah's friend Abby. They each picked one thing to paint. Noah selected a dragon, Wyatt selected a tank, Charlotte selected a Christmas tree, and Abby selected the word "Love".

Charlotte had excellent painting skills for a three year old and only needed minimal help with touch-ups.

Wyatt's concentration face.

And yes, Charlotte and Wyatt were still in their pj's from the night before.

Later that day, we prepped our gingerbread village for the next day's activity.

On the seventeenth day of Christmas, we decorated our Christmas village. Each of the kids picked a house and I did the fourth one.

The houses are (from L-R): Wyatt, Mom, Charlotte, Noah. My favorite feature was the teddy graham chimneys. Noah had a "gnome" house with a vertical roof, so he didn't have a chimney.

On the eighteenth day of Christmas, Charlotte's Little Sprouts class surprised the parents with a Christmas carol after their hike. It's hard to spot Charlotte, but she is wearing a light purple hat, directly to the right of one of the teachers. And she's smiling up at me instead of singing. That's my girl.

That evening, we painted light catchers.
