Hello Spring

Springtime fun. Charlotte loves having a job at Little Sprouts (she also insisted on wearing bunny ears to class.) This day she was the Flag Holder.

Another day she was the Big Word of the Day helper.

Saying goodbye to Kitty before heading home.

She also helped me vote and cooked up some snacks in her kitchen for me.

We had a water main break one day and so had to go out for dinner that night to use the bathroom. When we returned the hydrants were flushing and Wyatt thought that was really neat.

The kids and I went to finally check out Joey's in Orland Park one day after Charlotte's ballet class. It has a really nice outdoor eating area. They all approved.

They especially liked these fast food characters.

Charlotte and I went to meet the cast of the local high school's production of The Little Mermaid the day before we went to see the musical. We had fun meeting the characters and eating some cute cookies.

At this point, I don't think she had ever seen the movie, but she knew right away that Ursula was a bad character. I had to really convince her to pose for a picture with her.

Eric let her steer his ship.

She was the happiest when we finally met Ariel.

The cookies were so cute and they were nice enough to let us bring some to her brothers who were at Wyatt's baseball game.

Our daycare had a museum night again.

One evening, I went to a Cub Scout fundraiser at Board and Brush. I made some boards for our kitchen.

I volunteered at Noah's school for his in-school Lego field trip.

He also went on a field trip to the Bulls/Sox Academy that he really loved.

He played lots of fun games in class.

And designed a Leprechaun Town

And got silly for Dr. Seuss Week

In April, I attended the volunteer luncheon, where Noah's class performed a song using American Sign Language.
