9 months

Charlotte is now 9 months old. She is sweet and inquisitive and can get around the house like nobody's business. She can stand with assistance for short periods of time (mostly because she hates standing in one place and always wants to be crawling somewhere) and just started trying to take some steps with her walker. She has sprouted four little teeth (months earlier than her brothers). Her hair is still pretty thin and brown (darker here because she just came out of the bath and it was wet). I anticipate it will lighten a little this summer. She just started to clap a few days ago and she raises her hand up to say hi and bye, although it's not technically a wave yet. She loves to munch on puffs and we just started giving her a little table food, which she has been dying for. Like Wyatt, she never really took to a pacifier, but does like to chew on anything that she can get her hands on. Preferably the exact opposite of what she should be chewing on (paper, deflated plastic balls, fruit snack wrappers, etc). She doesn't care if I take a toy away, but she will scream if I take away her scrap of paper. The boys have been big helps keeping objects away from her. She loves to "dance" to music and has her eye always on my phone (perhaps a little Grandma Angel influence). She's a momma's girl at the moment and doesn't have any fear of strangers yet. At her appointment today she weighed 18 pounds and 4 ounces (a gain of 2 1/2 pounds since her six month check-up) and was 28 1/2 inches long (a 1 1/2 inch gain).
