Summer Vacation Week 9 - Wyatt's Birthday

Wyatt turned five on the 27th and on Saturday we held his birthday party at our house. He requested a Ninja Turtle theme and to keep costs down, I decided to do a back yard party with his new water slide. Wouldn't you know, someone had actually created that exact party invitation.

I also ordered him a customized birthday shirt

 

Another funny coincidence was the fact that I had just purchased a purple and green tub to use for summer parties the month prior to him deciding on Ninja Turtles. And those just happen to be the exact colors of the Ninja Turtles.

I didn't spend too much on party decor; I used his Ninja Turtle toys for the tables and just purchased some table cloths, streamers, and balloons.

In addition to the water slide (that I apparently took no pictures of) we also did a pinata. It was a tough pinata and it took over three turns each to blast into.

 And of course, presents

The present I ordered Wyatt obviously waited until an hour after the party to show up. Along with all of the water squirters.
