12 months

This little stinker is really moving and grooving his way into his second year. He started standing on his own a few weeks ago and can take a few independent steps forward. He can say mama, dada, hi, bye, and ball. He's incredibly curious and adventurous, can beat up his brother in under two minutes, will dive head first into the bathtub and throw a tantrum if we don't let him play in it (open toilets are also a go), is already excelling at beating on drums and swordplay, eats everything in sight particularly if it comes from the floor, thinks hitting you in the face is the funniest thing ever (working on that one), and charms literally everyone we meet with his sweet cheeks and goofy smile. He weighs 21 pounds, 3 ounces and grew a whopping one and a half inches in a month to 30.5 inches. He's average for weight and above average for height. We tried switching him to cow's milk last week, but had almost instant tummy discomfort so we have switched back to toddler soy formula for a few months. Wy is in 18 month clothes and size 4 diapers. He hates sippy cups, but is working on mastering a straw so we can hopefully eliminate bottles in the near future. Wyatt has his two front teeth and is working on a smattering of others. He likes to play peek-a-boo, throw and catch balls, and can now make a clicking sound with his tongue. Happy First Birthday Squish! We love you!
