Uncle Kurt rented a wheelchair for this park and Wyatt enjoyed getting to ride on it (and push it).
There weren't as many rides in this park, but it was full of fun attractions. Here is one ride that Kurt, Wyatt, and Grandma rode on - the triceratops spin.
Spotting Goofy and Pluto walking down the street was great timing. The characters don't walk around the park like they used to back in the 80's.
Headed out on the Kilimanjaro Safari, which was really neat. We saw lots of real animals grazing like hippos, giraffes, rhinos, okapis, elephants, and we even spotted a lion. He's sunning himself on the rock in the last picture, so it's a bit hard to see him.
Taking a break on the Wildlife Express train ride through the park
The kids liked this neat fountain and it helped cool us down. It was sweltering at the park that day.
Being silly on the Maharajah Jungle Trek
Wyatt was just barely tall enough to get on the rapids ride. He loved it so he rode it three times. We also loved controlling one of the squirters from the bridge and surprising unsuspecting riders with a splash of water.
Animal Kingdom was awesome, but we left a little early so we could go back to the hotel and go swimming! It was nice to cool down after a super hot day.
