Epcot

And so we arrive at our final day at Disney World where we spent nearly 12 hours walking around in the blistering heat among the mobs of people visiting Epcot for the Food and Wine Festival. It was over 90 degrees that day and we walked over 34,000 steps and we were exhausted by the time we left.

First things first, we popped into a gift shop to pick out some official Disney souvenirs. Noah chose a Miles from Tomorrowland figurine playset. Not to be outdone, Wyatt chose a figurine playset of The Good Dinosaur. Charlotte had a little help from Daddy and selected a princess Minnie.

One of the rides at Epcot was the Test Track. Here Noah is psyching himself up to go on it. Isn't it great that Noah was able to ride pretty much everything? He's getting so tall.

First we Noah designed our car.

Then we strapped ourselves in for a zippy ride around the track. Noah liked this ride more than the roller coasters.

While we were on the test track, Wyatt was splashing around with Auntie Ashley

Another ride at Epcot was The Seas with Nemo and Friends. Wyatt was ready for this one in his Finding Dory shirt.

They had manatees at their aquarium. Pretty cool.

The third ride was an oldie, but a goodie: Figment's Imagination.

We also toured the countries, colored our little tourist bears, and got a stamp from each place we visited.

First up was Canada.

Then there was the pyramid of Mexico

Norway

China

Germany

Japan

Morocco

And we finished our bear in England. (Not pictured: Italy and France, but we did hit all of them.)

I could barely walk by this point due to all the blisters, but we had to do Spaceship Earth before we left. Here the boys are playing some kind of curling game and "cleaning up the earth".

Before we left, the boys requested a Mickey pretzel. We waited in line until it was finally our turn, but they had just sold out. We requested the broken one (because the kids were having a meltdown) and they gave it to us free of charge. Thanks, Epcot!

On our way out we spotted a Character Spot. We hadn't met any characters aside from Winnie the Pooh and gang, so I convinced everyone to stay just a little longer and we were rewarded with personal meetings with Mickey, Minnie, and Goofy. The perfect way to end our Disney trip.
