Ober Gatlinburg

Good morning to my little two year old on day three of vacation!

Day three had warm, sunny weather again so we bought some tickets to Ober Gatlinburg and sailed our way to the top of a mountain. At the top, we decided to try out the ski lift to reach Mount Harrison.

 Wyatt and I went first.

And then it was Nick and Noah's turn.

Here's Noah at the top of Mount Harrison. It was actually a little chilly up there and there was also a really fun bluegrass band at the top.

Nick and Noah also wanted to try out the mountain coaster as did two special guests who joined us that day on the mountain.

After the coaster, we discovered the alpine slide had opened, so Noah and I jumped back on the ski lift to the halfway point so we could jump on the slide. Special guest number one was behind us, but when we arrived at the bottom, the person behind us was someone else. Leave it to Uncle Kurt to be the one to crash and fall off the alpine slide.

There goes the Ober Gatlinburg aerial tramway headed back up the mountain.

Someone's ready to jet to our next adventure.

After saying goodbye to Kurt's friend, we decided to check out a small half-mile hike nearby.

Much to the kid's delight, the hike had a nice creek running through it.

We also found this fun rock wall

As well as this large boulder. But no bears (except for the one on Noah's shirt).

We capped off the evening with a nice Mexican dinner in Gatlinburg
