Ole Smoky Day

For our final day in Gatlinburg, we headed back to town to explore some more shops and attractions. The NOC Gatlinburg sporting good store was especially fun. They had a large bear, a suspended bridge, and a secret passageway.

We had tickets to another Ripley museum, so we chose to check out the Odditorium.

Lunch was at Mellow Mushroom and was also good timing because it started to pour again.

Two other fun spots in town were the distilleries: Sugarlands and Ole Smoky Moonshine

Ole Smoky had a live bluegrass band, which was excellent, so we hung around for a while to listen.

Here's a little sampling:  https://youtu.be/cHnsExLT-kw
Wyatt was really getting into it:  https://youtu.be/XiO7gd68Ay0

That afternoon, we went back to The Island in Pigeon Forge

For Wyatt's vacation gift, he chose to make his very first stuffy from Build a Bear: Charmander, the Pokemon

Then all six of us hopped on the Great Smoky Mountain Ferris Wheel. It was drizzling again so we were happy it was a completely enclosed gondola.
